Why Ken Garff
With our We’re Here For You program, we give back to our community as much as we can. We’ve done all kinds of projects for local families, schools, and businesses, and we’re always looking for new ways to support the people who support us.
EEC stands for “Every Employee Counts,” so once a month we hold an EEC meeting to recognize employee accomplishments across all departments.
Driver of Excellence:
Once a month, one employee from each dealership and the corporate office is named a Driver of Excellence, nominated by their fellow employees. Then at the end of the year, each Driver is entered into a drawing, and around 60 winners are chosen at random to go on an all-expenses-paid trip to a resort in Mexico.
Every quarter, we roll out a series of fun, informative, and inspiring videos on a topic related to Ken Garff and our values of Respect, Integrity, Growth, Humility, and Teamwork. They feature compelling chats with guest speakers, including current and former NBA players, rock bands, doctors, actors, entrepreneurs, and more, and help us reconnect with the brand and fellow employees.
The Ken Garff Automotive Group
Ken Garff Kia is part of the Ken Garff Automotive Group, one of the largest privately held automotive groups in the country. Over the past 90 years, they’ve grown from one dealership in Utah to a network of more than 60 dealerships across 9 different states. The secret to their success? They’ve remained a family business through it all. Ken Garff started selling cars in 1932, and always believed that his customers and employees were more important than any car he sold. Today, his grandson, John, leads the company with the same dedication to listening to people and building positive, lasting relationships with them.
